Setup guide
About 5 minutes. You need your phone and the link you want customers to land on.
In short: your stand has two ways in, a printed QR code and an NFC chip. You connect each one to your link once: the QR code on nfckin.com, the manufacturer's site, and the NFC chip with a free app. Then test both.
Before you start
- Peel off the protective film from the front of the stand.
- Find the activation code: a short mix of letters and numbers printed under the QR code (or elsewhere on the stand). You'll need it in step 2.
- Keep the stand away from metal surfaces while you set it up. Metal can block the NFC signal.
Step 1: Copy your link
For a Google review stand
- On your phone, search for your business name on Google or open it in Google Maps, signed in to the Google account that manages your Business Profile.
- Choose Ask for reviews (sometimes shown as Get more reviews).
- Copy the link it gives you. That link opens your review form directly.
For a TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or LINE stand
Open your profile in the app, choose Share profile and copy the link.
Step 2: Activate the QR code
The QR code opens your link through nfckin.com, the manufacturer's free service. You only do this once.
- Open your phone's camera and scan the QR code on the stand. It opens nfckin.com.
- The first time, create a free account. Save your email and password: you'll need them to change the link later.
- Choose Activate Product.
- When asked, scan the QR code again. The site fills in the code for you.
- Type the activation code printed on the stand.
- Paste your link. Make sure it starts with https://. Then save.

Step 3: Write the NFC chip
- Install NFC Tools, a free app: App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android).
- Open the app and choose Write, then Add a record, then URL / URI.
- Paste your link and confirm.
- Choose Write and hold your phone against the center of the stand until the app says it worked. On iPhone, use the top edge of the phone. On Android, use the middle of the back.

Optional but recommended: in NFC Tools, use Other > Set password so nobody else can rewrite your chip. Don't use Lock tag: it makes the chip permanent, and you could never change the link again.
Step 4: Test it
- Tap the stand with your phone, unlocked. Your page should open.
- Scan the QR code with the camera. It should open the same page.
- If you can, try a second phone too, ideally one iPhone and one Android.
Then put the stand where customers pay or wait, and ask everyone: "Tap here to leave us a review."
Changing your link later
- QR code: log in to your nfckin.com account and change the link.
- NFC chip: write the new link with NFC Tools, the same way as step 3. If you set a password, the app will ask for it.
Troubleshooting
Nothing happens when a phone taps the stand
- The phone must be unlocked, with the screen on.
- On Android, check that NFC is switched on in Settings.
- iPhone XS and newer read it automatically. iPhone 7 to X need the NFC Tag Reader in Control Center.
- Thick, metal or magnetic wallet cases can block it. Try without the case.
- Hold the phone still against the center of the stand for a second or two.
The QR code opens nfckin.com instead of my page
The QR code isn't activated yet. Finish step 2.
The activation code isn't accepted
Check characters that look alike, such as 0 and O, or 1 and I. Type it exactly as printed.
Still stuck?
Email tap2reviewsupport@gmail.com with your order number and what you've tried. We'll walk you through it.
Use it the right way
Ask every customer, not only your happiest ones, and never offer anything in exchange for a review. Google's review policies don't allow either, and breaking them can get reviews removed from your listing.
